Beauty | My Blusher Collection #1

* Purchased - PR Samples

Ok so i said over on my instagram that i was going to do my highly asked for make up collection post, (still don't know why people want to see mine lol) but i decided it would be more fun showing you my collection in installments. I decided to start with my smallest collection, my Blushes. Though as of recently with us hitting spring-time i have found myself purchasing more (I have 6 more I'm still waiting on that i ordered online) so perhaps i will do a follow up post??

Now, I am not a huge blush lover like many other beauties and i am only just geting into wearing it, so am enjoying finding out which shades i like and which suit me. I do love a nice simple rosey hue to the cheeks or a beautiful peach with a touch of gold shimmer. Since i tend to stick to the same types of shades i do not find the need to have a huge collection at the moment. I am definitely more of a quality over quantity sort of girl when it comes to my makeup. I do not wear blush everyday but i cannot live without bronzer. I do have blushes for different seasons also. If you would like particular reviews and swatches on any of the blushes mentioned then please just let me know and i would be happy to oblige. So here goes, My make up collection the blushes.....

Both of these Etude House Blushes are New to my collection and are perfect sheer blushes for the Spring/Summer months. The add a subtle glow to the cheeks giving that beautiful lit from within healthy glow to the skin. Isn't the packaging just divine? I really am loving Korean make up at the moment for the warmer weather, and etude house is one of my favourites. The best place to purchase these is directly from Korea through RoseRoseShop who actually sell through eBay. I paid £25 per blush on eBay, however i found links for them for $25.

I love sleek blushes not only are they super affordable but they have amazing colour payoff and the pigmentation is out of this world! They give Nars a run for their money I definitely need to buy more.  I favour Pomegranate during the Autumn season and Rose Gold is beautiful to add to that sunkissed glow in the summer. Sleek blushes retail for £4.49 each are are available to purchase directly through the Sleek website or through Superdrug.

Pomegranate £4.49 - Rose Gold £4.49

My favorite of my 2 Nars blushes i currently own (I actually have Orgasm but i have misplaced it somewhere) I wrote what i liked about these blushes on my April Favorites. I find both deep throat and Amour are pretty cheek shades all year round. Deep throat is my favourite i definitely have to get on its own.

This was £29 through the Nars website but they no longer sell this particular blush as it was limited edition but both blush shades are available to purchase individually through their website directly.

This is another of my most recent purchases by Cargo Cosmetics. Honestly Cargo blushes are some of the best out there, i do wish they were easier to get a hold of here and more swatches were available to view online. All of the cargo blushes are amazing long-wearing and are also water resistant, yes beach babes you read right. I think this color is a great season transition color it compliments both the coming of Autumn and the coming of Spring. It is very similar to the Sleek Pomegranate but a tad pink pinker.
Cargo Mendcino blush can be purchased now back in the UK through debenhams or through Beauty Bay both at £19.

This blush i tend to like during the fall time, as it adds just a slight flush of colour to the cheeks like the cool autumn air has brushed up against them. It isnt a very pigmented blush but it can be layered. I'm not sure if i will purchase any more Bare Minerals blushes as for the price i would expect a bit more pigmentation.

My first ever blush purchase and one of my favorites the Benefit Powda Wowza. I purchased this as end of season stock and i must say i really like Benefit blushes. I love that i got to experiment with 2 blushes and also a bronzer. the mini brush included is cute and comes in handy for contouring with the bronzer. I am in love with this and will definitely repurchase in single form as well as the bronzer. These blushes compliment the Spring and Summer months beautifully.

Powda Wowza £19.50

I have only used this a couple of times. If i am honest i don't love it a great deal, it takes a lot of blending to look natural on my skin, i am much more of a glowy J-Lo kind of girl than a barbie Nicki Minaj so it takes some work to blend but once it is blended its very pretty.

This is a bargain at £3.75 from EyesLips&Face (E.L.F) directly.

To me this shade is the perfect shade for Falltime. Now its confusing because with the name you would think of spring or summer, but on me i find it a bit on the darker side. Great quality but sadly not one i reach for a lot.

Bouquet - Ranges from £6-£14 on eBay UK.

The last blush being the amazing Cheek Activator by Cargo in the color Rose Flush. I Love this blush!! It reacts with your own skin-tone to create a beautiful natural flush of pink on the cheeks, it also plumps up the cheeks giving a more youthful appearance. This is perfect for the the Spring and summer months. Unfortunately Cargo discontinued a lot of their cosmetics and this blusher was one.

Then lastly these are the brushes i currently enjoy using to apply my blush. I went through a stage of onlyt buying more high end makeup brushes and then i found the wonderful world of ebay and asian sellers...

1 -  Joursna Angled powder Brush
2 - Joursna Round Top Brush
3 - Sigma SS150 Powder brush (this brush malts ALOT)
4 -  EcoTools Mineral powder Brush

*I use the Joursna angled brush for a light hand of blush, so usually a light shimmer blush and its great for blending it in with my contour and highlight. I use the Joursna round top brush the most (As i am sure you can see, please excuse my dirty brushes im actually cleaning them Tomorrow) This brush is amazing and definitely competes with the real techniques brushes (which i also own) but this is a fraction of the price. The brush is super soft and their bristles are densely packed making it easy to buff into the skin. I do not wear foundation therefor i don't mind buffing blush into my cheeks. You can look carefully through eBay for these brushes or you can purchase a set here with 5 (I actually have the set) for £16 with shipping. I have had so many people approach me through instagram about these brushes

*Sigma SS150 Brush. This was actually sent to me through a company, I am not a big fan of this brush at all (It malts more than my hair when i brush it) but i do occasionally use it for applying a light coat of blusher on my cheeks.

*The EcoTools Mineral Powder brush actually came as a set for £19.99 in boots, its my blush brush in my make up bag for touch ups.

Sooo you have seen my First installment on my blushes collection. Do you have any the same? Are their any you would consider trying now?
