Beauty | My Foundation Collection #1

* Purchased

Back three years ago i would never even had considered to wear foundation, as i am pretty lucky with great skin... Now i have enough foundation for 10 women. 2014 was the year I really branched out into foundations and found myself testing and reviewing lots of foundations. I am regularly asked which foundations do i own and recommend, what shade am i in certain brands, which one works best for Oily, Combination or Dry skin... I thought as people are always asking me which foundations i own that i would put my whole collection onto my blog in this post. These are currently the foundations i own, i have tested a lot and sold the ones i did not agree with, i am sure after this post i would have added even more to my collection lol....

When it comes to my skin I am actually pretty blessed with good skin already, minus the occasional blemish here and there. I actually don't need to wear foundation but I like the result i get of flawless skin and evened out skin. I don't wear foundation every day and when i do I always use a light hand with my foundation application, so that my skin still looks natural with my freckles still peeking through, unless i want full coverage on a night out. As for my skin type I have oily combination skin. I am oily in my t-zone and on my eyelids, normal on my cheeks and dry under my eyes and around my nose. So I tend to like foundations aimed at Oily/Combination skin but not so drying it clings to my dry areas.

I would say I pretty much have a favourite foundation type that I prefer over others and it's definitely a demi matte finish. I like my skin to shine through and to look natural. I like a semi matte finish with a slight luminosity. The only problem i find with foundations aimed at oily skin is they can make my dry areas worse, and foundations aimed at normal/dry skin can have me looking greasy in the t-zone half way through the day but it's nothing some blotting paper and powder cannot fix. I will start off with my drugstore foundations and work my way up to the pricier highend foundations. So let's get started on my collection.....

  1. How do you use your Dior airbrush spray foundation? Spray it straight on your face or onto a sponge/brush. I really want it but unsure how to apply it xx

    1. I spray it either directly on to my buffing brush or into the lid then use the brush to pick up the amount I need :)
