Viseart has by far, become one of my favourite eyeshadow brands; and i think it is fair to say that i have tested a lot of eyeshadows from a wide variety of brands over the years. The Viseart Sultry Muse palette is the 'be all' of the shimmer palettes. I can now safely say ' that i do not feel the need to buy anymore neutral shimmery eyeshadow palettes' by any other brand, but Viseart! I thought Tom Ford and Charlotte had the best shimmers on the market until i bought this palette, don't get me wrong i still love them, and i would go as far as to say that the best shimmer eyeshadows are by Tom Ford, Suqqu, Charlotte Tilbury and Viseart. I intend to add two other Viseart shimmer palettes to my collection. Honestly if you are looking for the smoothest shimmer eyeshadows on the market then look no further....

I have raved about the Makeup Academy Cosmetics whipped velvet blushes quite a bit on my Instagram over the past year, and they have occasionally popped up throughout my monthly favourites here on my blog. With the colder weather drying out skin, a cream blush can really be refreshing on the skin. It adds a subtle and natural hint of colour to the cheeks, without it drying out the skin like a powder can. I am here to talk about some super affordable cream blusher options that help me to achieve a natural flushed look.
I don't own many cream blushes because if i don't like them first try i dismiss them, i also find that my sensitive skin can break-out with some cream based products that i apply to my cheeks. However, the affordable MUA whipped velvet blushes i fell in love with first try....

Some of us are perfectly happy with our pre-made eyeshadow palettes, but some of us don't find that we put every single shade within the palette to good use. I for one and one of those people. So that's where creating your own custom eyeshadow palettes is a great idea. It may be more costly than a pre-made palette but it's less wasteful. The great thing about pro palettes is that you can also depot other eyeshadows and apply a magnetic strip. Starting a custom palette is the best way to create an eyeshadow palette full of eyeshadows that will all be equally loved and used. I always suggest starting off with a small quad ( which are also travel friendly ) to help you decide if you like MAC eyeshadows enough to want to invest in a large 15 pan palette.

The Viseart Matte Eyeshadow Palette in Neutral Matte has been going around the Makeup and Beauty world for quite a long time now, but it wasn't until it launched in Sephora in America last year that it got it's recognition from Makeup Enthusiasts and Bloggers worldwide ( oh the good old world of Youtube and Instagram ); No longer a wonderful kept secret for makeup artists, becoming easily accessible for us non makeup artists to purchase. Though the Viseart palettes have been available to purchase in the UK for quite a while now ( only through one website ) they were always sold out and i got impatient and decided to purchase both the Neutral Matte and the Sultry Muse palettes together from Sephora instead. What appeals to so many about this particular palette is that it offers 12 shimmer-free completely-matte eyeshadows, but the price tag is expensive and most people who are not in the 'makeup industry' would not fork so much money out on this. So lets find out in the hefty price tag is worth the purchase shall we....

I did pretty good at not buying throughout the Autumn months with the exception of a few drugstore foundations from Superdrug and a couple of Zoeva and Morphe eyeshadow palettes and some Holidays limited edition items. However this winter i have been very, very naughty and i didn't realise how much i had accumulated until i got everything out for this blog post. Could you imagine how long it would be if this was a haul video? The past couple of months i have ticked a lot of items off of my wish list and i also took advantage of all the sales going on, yes adding fuel to the already shopaholic fire lol. I am one of those people who likes to be prepared and organised, therefor i am already mentally preparing myself for Spring, even though technically the UK hasn't really even had a winter, it's felt like one very long Autumn season with mild weather and lots of winds and rain. Sadly i have not used a huge majority of the items in this post, mostly because i have been ill a lot throughout December and January meaning that i have had no energy to take photos of any products before being able to use them. Also about a third of this haul came within the past week ( got to love sales after Christmas ). I have the intentions to try every single thing out and expect to see reviews coming up on my blog. Anyway, if you would like to see what all i picked up the past couple of months then keep on reading.....
